The outdoor unit (1)

The outdoor unit - TOSHIBA Super Digital Inverter:
it absorbs heat energy from the ambient air and transports it through the refrigeration cycle to the Hydro-Unit. The well-known TOSHIBA Super Digital Inverter outdoor units series 4 are used, which stand out through their extremely quiet, speed-controlled, vibration-free twin-rotary compressor.
The IPDU control is responsible for extremely high efficiency ratios, thus for a savings on energy consumption. The installation can be arranged flexible, as the refrigeration pipes between the outdoor unit and the Hydro-Unit can be up to 30 m in length. The temperature range during heating mode is between
-20°C and +25°C, during cooling mode between +10°C and +43°C and for the hot water generation between -20°C and +43°C.

Hydro-Unit (2)

Inside the Hydro-Unit the by the outdoor unit obtained heat will be transferred from refrigerant to water by a plate heat-exchanger. Due this hot water up to 55°C can be produced.
Further contained are circulation pump, an expansion vessel, the remote control and electrical support heaters.
The integrated regulation controls all valves, pumps and system components and allows optionally also the activation of an existing, conventional heating system, which for example could be activated during low ambient temperatures. (module TCB-PCIN3E required). If required the Toshiba air-to-water heat pump can also be activated through an existing heating system. (Module TCP-PCM03E required)

Hot water tank (3)

Manufactured with thermal isolation, the stainless steel tank comes with a largely dimensioned heat-exchanger, perfectly suited for the usage with air to water heat-pumps.
This heat exchanger is optimally designed for best heat transfer from the 55°C circulation water to the stored water. The tank is also equipped with electrical boost heater, temperature sensors and a safety thermostat.

The Controls (4)

ESTIA - SteuerungThe remote control is integrated in the Hydro-Unit and regulates all functions of the air-to-water heat pump.
A large, easy readable LCD-Display shows the current operation status. The integrated 7-day timer allows a comfortable switching of the system and the creation of requested weekly programs designed by the owner. Useful functions such as night setback, frost protection, hot water boost and anti bacteria function are included.
The remote control enables the following functions:

* setting of the operation mode: heating, hot water, cooling
* 2 zones & hot water control
* night setback
* frost protection
* hot water boost
* anti-bacteria function
* weekly timer
* The programming of the basic settings such as auto curve, test operation, settings for electrical boost heaters
